The Rain Bird SW20-30PS Drip Irrigation Spot Watering Dripper/Emitter is a robust, pressure-compensating emitter that provides a medium-high flow rate of 2.0 gallons per hour. Ideal for watering the root zones of garden and landscape plants, shrubs, bushes, small trees, and medium-sized containers, this emitter ensures that all plants receive the desired watering rate, regardless of their position along the distribution tubing run.

Designed with a uniform flow throughout a wide pressure range from 15 to 50 psi, the emitter features barbed ends that securely retain 1/4" Drip tubing for a leak-proof connection. The self-piercing barb allows for direct insertion into the side of 1/2" or larger Drip irrigation tubing, or it can be used with 1/4" tubing for positioning near individual plants. The emitter can be easily inserted by hand, or for faster installation, one of Rain Bird's insertion tools (sold separately) can be used.

With large water passages and a self-flushing action, the emitter is designed to help prevent clogging. Constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials, it is built to withstand adverse conditions and assure a long life.

Rain Bird emitters are color-coded to easily identify the flow rate, and the convenient plastic bag provided contains 30 red-colored 2.0 gallon per hour emitters. The slow watering rate allows the soil to absorb water more completely in the root zones of plants.

In addition to the 2.0 GPH emitter, Rain Bird also offers 0.5, 1.0, and 5.0 GPH flow rates to customize the watering of varying plant types and sizes.
