The top cap of the valve can be turned to adjust or completely shut off the water flow, making it ideal for use when making repairs or refining the flow to specific plants or watering zones. The self-piercing design allows it to be used with 1/4" Drip tubing or inserted into 1/2" or larger Drip tubing.

The 1/2" barbed ends of the valve accept most brands of 1/2" Drip tubing, creating a fast, secure, and leak-proof connection that stays in place season after season. The valve is constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials, ensuring long life and reliability. It is designed for working pressure of 0 to 50 psi, making it suitable for a wide range of irrigation applications.

The Rain Bird BVAL50-1S Drip Irrigation 1/2" Barbed Valve is an ideal solution for controlling water flow to individual plants and planting containers, helping to prevent over or under watering of plants with different moisture needs.
