One of Rain Bird's offerings is the BUE05-25S Drip Irrigation Button Dripper/Emitter, a 0.5 (1/2) Gallon Per Hour, 25-Pack. These dripper/emitters are ideal for watering the root zones of smaller plants in landscaped areas or containers. The non-pressure compensating model delivers a low 0.5 (1/2) gallon-per-hour flow rate, making it suitable for watering the root zones of small garden and landscape plants, shrubs, and container plantings.

The dripper/emitters feature barbed ends that securely retain 1/4" Drip tubing, ensuring a leak-proof connection. The self-piercing barb allows for direct insertion into the side of 1/2" or larger Drip irrigation tubing, or they can be used with 1/4" tubing for positioning near individual plants. They can be easily inserted by hand, or for faster installation, one of Rain Bird's insertion tools (sold separately) can be used.

Designed with large water passages and self-flushing action, these dripper/emitters help prevent clogging. They are constructed of highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials to assure long life. Rain Bird emitters are color-coded to easily identify the flow rate, and the convenient plastic bag contains 25 blue-colored emitters. Additional flow rates of 1.0 and 2.0 GPH are also available (sold separately) to customize watering for varying plant types and sizes.
