The PEB Series, Rain Bird's most durable plastic irrigation valve, is designed for commercial irrigation applications. This industrial-strength, glass-filled nylon globe valve features several options and benefits that enhance its performance and durability.

One of the key features of the PEB Series is the ability to accommodate a field-installed PRSD pressure regulating module. This module ensures optimal sprinkler performance by regulating pressure up to 100 psi (6.90 bar). Additionally, the valve is equipped with purple flow control handles, which provide easy identification of non-potable water systems.

The PEB Series is available in two models: PEBNPHAN1 (1") and PEBNPHAN2 (1 1/2" and 2"). These valves are compatible with Rain Bird battery-operated controllers and can withstand up to 150 psi (10.35 bar) of pressure.

Regarding the valve's construction, the PEB Series boasts a durable, glass-filled nylon body and a nylon-reinforced rubber diaphragm, ensuring long life and reliable performance. The globe configuration, combined with a normally closed, forward-flow design, provides slow closing to prevent water hammer and subsequent system damage.

The PEB Series also features a one-piece solenoid design with a captured plunger and spring, allowing for easy servicing and preventing the loss of parts during field service. The flow control handle allows for adjusting water flows as needed, while the manual internal bleed enables the valve to be operated without allowing water into the valve box, allowing the pressure regulator to be adjusted without first turning the valve on at the controller.

For system maintenance and start-up, the PEB Series offers a manual external bleed that permits flushing debris from the system. Additionally, the stainless steel studs molded into the body allow the bonnet to be attached and removed more easily and more often without damaging the threads.

In terms of specifications, the PEB Series has an operating pressure range of 20 to 200 psi (1.4 to 13.8 bar) and can handle flows ranging from 0.25 to 200 GPM (0.06 to 45 m/h; 0.02 to 12.60 l/s) without the PRSD option, or 5 to 200 GPM (1.14 to 45 m3/h; 0.32 to 12.60 l/s) with the PRSD option. The overall dimensions of the valve are 6 1/2" x 4" x 4" (16.5 cm x 10.2 cm x 10.2 cm), and it has a holding current of 0.28 A and 6.7 VA.
