This robust and reliable pressure-compensating emitter delivers a consistent 1.0 gallon-per-hour flow rate, making it an ideal choice for watering the root zones of garden and landscape plants, shrubs, and container plantings.

Designed with the "Intelligent Use of Water" in mind, this emitter ensures that all plants receive the desired watering rate, regardless of their position along the distribution tubing run. The pressure-compensating design maintains a uniform flow throughout a wide pressure range of 15 to 50 psi, eliminating the common issue of uneven watering.

One of the key features of the SW10-30PS is its self-piercing barb, which allows for direct insertion into the side of 1/2" or larger Drip irrigation tubing. Alternatively, it can be used with 1/4" tubing for more precise positioning near individual plants. The barbed ends securely retain the Drip tubing, creating a leak-proof connection.

For ease of installation, the emitters can be simply inserted by hand, or for faster deployment, Rain Bird offers several specialized insertion tools (sold separately): ET/1PK25S, HPUN1-1S, and HPTCX.

Constructed with highly durable UV and chemical-resistant materials, these emitters are built to withstand adverse conditions and ensure long-lasting performance. The slow watering rate allows the soil to absorb water more completely in the root zones of plants, promoting optimal plant health and growth.

To prevent clogging, the emitters are designed with large water passages and a self-flushing action, effectively removing any potential debris or contaminants.

For easy identification, Rain Bird has color-coded the emitters to indicate their flow rate. The convenient plastic bag included in this package contains 30 black-colored 1.0 gallon-per-hour emitters.
