WAND is a simple, plug-in device that enables online irrigation management capabilities for any Hunter X2 controller. This device empowers Hydrawise smart irrigation management software, which utilizes comprehensive local weather forecasts to ensure you only water when necessary, while also providing reports on water usage and total water savings. WAND grants you complete irrigation control from your smartphone, tablet, or computer, and you can even grant access and permissions to your irrigation contractor.

During the SAP setup process, it's crucial to ensure your device remains connected to the HunterX2XXX Wi-Fi network. Be aware that your device's Wi-Fi may automatically connect back to your saved networks, and a 'No Internet' popup may appear. In such cases, select 'Continue Without Internet' to maintain the connection to WAND. To resolve any connectivity issues, forget the saved HunterX2XXX Wi-Fi network in your device's Wi-Fi settings, and then restart the Wi-Fi setup process. If needed, uninstall WAND, re-insert it, and restart the Wi-Fi setup.

This simple, plug-in device enables Hydrawise online irrigation management capabilities for any X2 controller, providing maximum water savings. It also offers controller status updates and faulty wiring alerts, signifying the need for maintenance before costly landscape damage occurs. The standard programming allows for 3 independent programs with 6 start times per program and 24-hour maximum run times. You can quickly copy and paste Hydrawise scheduling to any X2 controller for a full schedule setup in seconds. Additionally, you can use your smartphone as a manual remote when Wi-Fi is unavailable or the controller is hard to access.

WAND is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Control4, and HomeSeer, offering flexible setup options such as Bluetooth Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, or WPS push-button connection. However, it is important to note that it is only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi routers, with 802.11 b/g/n 20 MHz support. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. Regarding security protocols, WAND supports WPA/WPA2 Personal, WPA2 Enterprise, TLS, and SSL.
