The versatile Rain Bird TRU8O irrigation controller allows you to take control of your landscape with its flexible program-based settings. Designed for residential applications with professional features and reliability, this 8-zone/station controller is WiFi-ready, enabling remote operation via mobile devices.

The easy-to-set intuitive programming dial and multi-function LCD display make it simple to customize watering schedules for each area of your yard. The controller features individual A, B, C programs per zone, with up to 4 start times per program, totaling 12 distinct start times per zone. This allows for specialized watering schedules tailored to the needs of your landscape.

The automatic watering options are highly customizable, enabling you to schedule watering by days of the week, odd or even calendar days, or a cyclic pattern every 1 to 30 days. The manual station feature allows for watering of a single zone, all zones, or an individual program, providing versatility in your irrigation management.

The season adjust function allows you to increase or decrease watering times by 5% to 200% for all programs at once or by individual programs, enabling you to adapt to changing weather conditions. The rain delay feature lets you manually suspend and resume watering for 1 to 14 days, or it can operate a rain sensor (sold separately) for automatic delays and restarts.

The permanent days off feature is particularly useful, as it allows you to set a regular day or days off by program so that watering never occurs during scheduled landscaping crew visits, eliminating the need to reprogram in such cases.

The Rain Bird TRU8O boasts a range of professional programming features, including an interstation delay from 1 second to 9 hours, rain sensor bypass by zone, save/restore programming, control of the zone by master valve or pump start relay, and the ability to reset to factory defaults.

Designed to withstand even the harshest environments, the controller is preinstalled in a weatherproof, contractor-grade case and is compatible with most 24 VAC irrigation valves. It includes a transformer power plug, a 6-foot power cord, and a user manual. The robust set screw terminals provide secure connections for AC power, valve connections, master valve/pump start relay, and rain/rain freeze sensor.

When paired with the LNK2 WiFi Module (sold separately) and a rain sensor (also sold separately), the Rain Bird TRU8O meets EPA WaterSense criteria, promoting the intelligent use of water. With its built-in surge protection and automatic troubleshooting capabilities, this irrigation controller offers a reliable and efficient solution for managing your landscape's watering needs.
